Both types of TVs give HDTV but plasma TVs are better for larger models, as generally LCD TVs are not generally found in models that have screen sizes that are above 42 inches. Again this is changing as technology improves. Currently LCD TVs are also more expensive than plasma TVs. The debate rages on of plasma vs. LCD but they are both great televisions that give the viewer a crystal clear unparalleled picture.

Between these types of flat screen TVs the disadvantages of each type diminish as time passes, as technology improves. The one thing that they do have in common is they both are head and shoulders above other types of television in terms of the quality of the picture.
